What this covers
This policy covers every Woodland Howl site and app: woodlandhowl.com, WebChecks, Tenant Pane, ScopeShift, Our Next Watch, HoweNotes and Northbound Money.
Analytics
The sites use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It sets no cookies and collects no personal identifiers. Nothing it collects is sold or shared.
Cookies
No Woodland Howl site sets cookies unless a feature you sign in to needs one. The only such cookie is the sign-in cookie Our Next Watch sets when you sign in.
Support form
The support form collects the product, the category, your message and, only if you give it, your email address. Each submission is emailed to Woodland Howl and kept for 12 months, then deleted. Submissions are not shared with anyone.
Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the form is being sent by a person.
WebChecks
Tools run against the domain, IP address or data you enter. Tools marked “runs locally” work in your browser and never send your data to a server. No account is needed.
Tenant Pane
Everything stays on your PC. The app has no telemetry or analytics. Windows may send crash reports to Microsoft, depending on your own diagnostic data setting.
ScopeShift
ScopeShift runs on your DHCP server. It asks for credentials each time it runs and never stores them. Nothing is sent to Woodland Howl.
HoweNotes
Your notes are encrypted on your PC. Nothing is synced to Woodland Howl.
Our Next Watch
Our Next Watch needs an account. It stores your email address, display name, the titles and preferences you save, the groups you join and the email addresses of people you invite. You can review, change or delete this, including your whole account, on your Account page. Trailers come from YouTube and load only when you play them.
Northbound Money
The calculators run in your browser and no account is needed. Your theme choice and favourite calculators are saved in your browser's local storage and are never sent to a server.
